What is Money Manager?

A budgeting and cashflow tool that can be accessed in My AMP on desktop or the app.




What is happening to Money Manager?

The tool is being decommissioned and it will no longer be available in My AMP. This means, you will no longer be able to see your linked external accounts or any of the functionality in the Wealth or Cashflow tabs (in the app).




When is Money Manager closing?

Money Manager will be removed from My AMP on August 26, 2022.




Why is it closing?

In December 2021 we announced Westpac Group had acquired the MoneyBrilliant technology.

MoneyBrilliant is the technology platform that drives Money Manager, and as a result Money Manager and all access will be removed from My AMP by August 26, 2022.




When is Money Manager available until?

From August 4 you will no longer be able to connect new accounts. However you can continue to view money Manager in My AMP until August 26.




Will personal information be stored?

Money Manager users can rest assured that no personal data will be stored as a result of the decommission.




Are there any other tools available to use?

There are several other tools available to help you manage your money:

  • If you’re looking for a bird’s eye view of your money, AMP’s Budget planner calculator could help work out what’s coming in and what’s going out.
  • If you’re looking to manage your spending, AMP’s Expense planner calculator could help you get a better understanding of your expenses.
  • And if you are looking to work out where your money’s going, Money Smart’s Budget planner could help you get an overview of your finances.



Are there any new tools coming to My AMP?

We’ve been busy enhancing My AMP with a host of useful self-service features and there are more new features in the pipeline. We look forward to sharing more about these exciting additions with you soon.
