Things to consider before you start

Bringing your super together can help you save on fees and keep your retirement savings on track. Before you consolidate your super, there are a few important things to check:

Make sure you won’t lose any important features, such as insurance or pension options, by closing your other fund(s).

Some funds may charge exit fees or other costs for consolidation. It’s a good idea to check first.

If you want to keep your insurance, you may be able to transfer cover from another super fund to AMP*. You'll need to organise this before consolidating. If you need help understanding your insurance needs, a financial adviser or our team can assist you.
