It’s MySuper authorised. What does that mean?

MySuper is a simple default investment option. It is intended by the government to make comparing super products easier based on key differences like cost and investment performance. MySuper authorised means it meets the specific standards set under legislation, including fee structures and generally a basic level of insurance coverage.

If you don't select an investment option, your contributions will be paid into a MySuper investment option.

 

Our fee structure means you only pay for what you want. This means your AMP Flexible Super can be a simple, no-frills low-cost super account. Or it can be the super which offers you plenty of specialised investment choices plus comprehensive insurance with income protection. It’s flexible and completely up to you.

Note that the new fees are now reflected as monthly (not weekly).

(i) This fee increases 1 July each year in line with the CPI.

(ii) In addition to the Investment fee, performance based fees are paid to certain investment managers when they meet specific investment performance targets. They are deducted from the investment and are reflected in the daily unit price or crediting rate.

(iii) Applicable fee if only invested in the Core investment level, monthly member fees for other investment levels are listed in the tables above.

You can choose the type and level of insurance you need. Paying for your insurance through your super doesn’t affect your take-home pay. And if life changes, you can apply for more.

Essential Protection is quick and easy to apply for, and gives you death cover (including terminal illness), plus total and permanent disablement (TPD) cover up to $250,000.

Super Protection offers higher levels of cover, as well as temporary incapacity cover.
