For eligible government concession card holders 

If you hold any one of the following Commonwealth Government concession cards: Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, Health Care Card, or Pensioner Concession Card you may be eligible for the AMP Access Account – Basic Features.

No overdraft  We won’t allow the account to become overdrawn unless it’s impossible or reasonably impractical for us to prevent it.
No dishonour fees We won’t charge any dishonour fees if a payment to or from the account is dishonoured.
No debit interest If the account becomes overdrawn for any reason where we were unable to prevent it, we won’t charge debit interest on the overdrawn amount.

FAQs

What do I need to apply?

Applying online is easy and will take you about five minutes to complete. You’ll need a valid form of identification. Once you’ve applied, download the My AMP app from the Apple or Google Play store to start banking online. Your Visa Debit card will arrive by mail soon after we’ve approved your application.

What are the fees?

There are no ongoing account management fees, including for regular deposits or withdrawals. Some fees and charges for special services may apply, such as a duplicate statement fee. Read our Deposit product fees and charges guide for more information.

Are my savings secure?

The Australian Government guarantee protects combined deposits up to $250,000 per customer in the unlikely event that a financial institution fails.

I want an account that pays interest

The AMP Cash Manager is a transactional account that pays interest or you might like a linked AMP Saver Account. You can apply for AMP Saver and AMP Access at the same time here.
