How does paperless work?

If you have opted to go paperless, you will receive an email from AMP notifying you when your statement is online on My AMP and where the statement is located. The statement will not be attached to the email and there will be no links for security purposes.

To access the document, login to My AMP and select View statements & correspondence from the I want to menu, then download the document you wish to view. This section holds a history of policy documents since 2006.

Paperless is fast

You will receive an email as soon as your online statement is available. There is no need to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

Paperless is convenient

Statements will be available online anytime, for the lifetime of your account.                                            

Paperless is environmentally friendly

Paperless statements have less environmental impact. Less paper, less energy and a whole lot less storage.

Signing up to go paperless

How do I sign up to go paperless?

In order to receive your paperless statements online you will need a My AMP account and online access.

If you are an existing My AMP user:

  • Login to My AMP.
  • Select your Profile at the top right of the screen.
  • Click View communication preferences in the drop-down menu.
  • Select Email / Online to go paperless.
  • Click Save changes.

If you don't have a My AMP account you will need to register for one. As you register, choose to go paperless in your 'communication preferences' as part of your personal details.

Changing paperless preferences

I have registered for go paperless, but I'd like to change my paperless preferences. How do I do that?

To receive paper statements:

  • Login to My AMP.
  • Select your Profile at the top right of the screen.
  • Click View communication preferences in the drop-down menu.
  • Select Post to receive paper statements.
  • Click Save changes.

If I sign up to go paperless with all of my AMP documentation, will I still receive AMP communications in the mail in future?

Yes, you may still receive printed material if this information is not available in an electronic format yet. AMP will look to go paperless where possible.

How long is my statement information stored and available to view online?

You will be able to view your statement online for the rest of the life of your product. However, AMP stores your statement information for the life of your product, plus seven years.

Does the go paperless service cost me anything?

No. The paperless service is free to all AMP customers.
