    Flag

    Verify who you're really dealing with. If you're unsure about a message, email or call, contact the organisation directly.

    PROTECT

     If something doesn't feel right, act quickly. Contact us immediately if you think you've shared financial information or lost money to a scam.

    How to report a scam to other services

     Report scams to Scamwatch

    If the scam involves myGov, Centrelink, Medicare or other Services Australia services, report it to Services Australia Scams and Identity Theft .

    If your identity information has been compromised, seek support from IDCARE, Australia’s national identity and cyber support service.
