I don’t know about you, but the end of the year seems to be coming around much faster than I expected. 2025 has been a huge year for us here at AMP.
We’ve delivered many innovations, but just as importantly, I’m proud of the service we continue to provide for our customers. Earlier this year, we conducted research on finances and retirement, and we know that many Australians find these daunting topics to even start talking about.
I encourage you to explore the tools we have available. There’s a wealth of information on our website, and we have many dedicated team members ready to answer your questions. We’ve also developed some great Digital Financial Advice journeys you can complete from the comfort of your lounge room, so you never have to feel uneasy about asking questions that many Australians share.
Looking at our superannuation business this year, we launched Lifetime Boost – a new retirement solution that could see the average Australian be as much as $100,000* better off in the first ten years of retirement.
We also launched AMP Rewards, which gives you cash back when you shop. Of course, you can choose to receive cash rewards, but you might consider contributing them to your superannuation – because we all know that saving a little earlier can make a big difference when we reach retirement.
Additionally, our investment team, who have been working incredibly hard for many years, delivered top performance once again – helping us move forward with confidence.
On the banking front, we launched AMP Bank GO this year, a new digital solution that offers full transaction account capability and rewards Qantas Frequent Flyers and Qantas Business Rewards members with Qantas Points – a first in the market for small business. There’s also a numberless card, which is especially important in today’s environment, where scams and fraud are prevalent, to help you protect yourself as much as possible.
And of course, I can’t forget to mention the wonderful AMP Foundation, which I’m proud to chair. Many Australians have done it tough this year, and we’ve been able to continue supporting the community. One of the things I’m most proud of is our recent donation of $500,000 to Foodbank Australia, enabling them to provide another one million meals to those in need.
So as we get to this time of the year, I hope it's a restful one for you. I hope you get to enjoy the company of your friends and family, and please enjoy the holiday period.
