Fairness at AMP

    AMP is committed to acting with integrity and fairness. This is part of the way we live our values ‘put customers first’ and ‘do the right thing’. This page explains what fairness means at AMP and how we use it to guide our decisions and actions.

    We strive to consider customers in every decision we make. When something goes wrong, we aim to identify the issue, fix it, and reduce the chance of it happening again, especially when we’re handling a complaint or solving a problem.

    Fairness at AMP means we take a fair approach to how we think, act and respond to customers.  Specifically, when we resolve complaints from our customers or remediate any issues, we ask ourselves:

      

    • Fair Dealing
      • Does the product or service provide value to our customers and operate as described?
      • Does the product or service meet our customer’s stated purpose? 
    • Fair Service
      • Are we using care and skill to look after our customers, and taking ownership to resolve any issues?
      • Are we being open and honest, meeting our obligations and commitments? 
    • Fair Treatment
      • Are we considering, understanding and meeting the needs of our customers?
      • Are we understanding any impact on our customers and doing the right thing?
