AMP Bank Visa Debit Card allows you to access your own funds in your transaction account and redraw available funds from some of our home loans.
This card is accepted anywhere in Australia and whenever you see the Visa or Plus logos. Our card comes standard with payWave technology.
The AMP Visa Debit Card allows you to:
- receive a full rebate to your account for the ATM fee charged for using your Access card at any ATM in Australia
- make purchases or withdraw cash from any ATM in the world where the Visa or Plus logo is displayed1
- make purchases or cash withdrawals at retailers in Australia that offer eftpos
- make purchases over the phone and internet
- deposit cheques and cash at Bank@Post, and withdraw cash1 (personal customers only)
- tap and go for quick payments on purchases
You can change the PIN for your AMP Bank Visa Debit Card via My AMP. Simply log into My AMP or open the My AMP app or AMP Bett3r app and look for the Card management option. Find out how.

Getting started is simple

Use our mobile apps to see all your AMP accounts with a single, secure four-digit personal identification number (PIN) access. You can:
- set up alerts for money coming in or going out of your AMP Bank account
- monitor your account balances and transfer funds easily between accounts
- set up Quick Balance view for up to four of your AMP Bank accounts.
My AMP allows you to:
- View your account details, recent transactions and statements that have been issued.
- Transfer funds between your own accounts or to someone else (cut off times apply when transferring funds to someone else).
- Pay bills using BPAY (cut off times apply)
- Download your transactions as a csv or qif file for use in accounting software
- Add nicknames to your accounts
- Change the PIN for your AMP Bank Access Card (Find out how)
Apple Watch with the My AMP app gives you more time for your money
The My AMP app for Apple Watch gives you quick access to view your balances in the tick of a watch!
- Simply download the latest version of the My AMP iPhone app to your phone.
- Then ‘pair’ your Watch to your iPhone. The Apple Watch views the same My AMP app that is stored on your iPhone.
Set up the ‘Quick Balance’ function on your iPhone for each eligible account. This can be done via ‘Notifications and Settings’, then ‘Quick Balance’.
The display notifications will show any notifications you currently have set up on your My AMP app.
Cash or cheque deposits nationwide - you can make deposits at Australia Post outlets which display the Bank@Post sign
You are able to transact at more than 3,200 Australia Post outlets that display the Bank@PostTM sign. This provides you with real-time deposits and the ability to draw cash1.
