AMP Limited announces the appointment of Jackie Cleary as Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Blair Vernon.
Jackie brings over 25 years of financial services experience across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. She most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions at Jefferies Australia, advising publicly listed and APRA-regulated financial institutions on corporate strategy, capital allocation, balance sheet management, financial reporting and investor engagement.
Prior to Jefferies Australia, Jackie was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group in New York, advising US and Global banks on strategic transactions, capital adequacy and regulatory matters.
As CFO, Jackie will lead all of AMP’s financial activities and be responsible for Financial Control, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting, Performance Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations, and will join the AMP executive team.
The CFO search was undertaken following Blair’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer in March.

The CFO appointment finalises AMP’s executive team under new CEO Blair Vernon, following the internal appointments of Rebecca McDermott as Chief People Officer and Rob Jarrett as Chief Operating Officer. Further, the role of Chief Marketing Officer held by Tina Cleary has been elevated to the AMP executive team.
Jackie will be based in Sydney and is expected to commence on 20 July 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
