AMP Limited Board update
AMP Limited today announced Andrea Slattery will retire from her role as an independent Nonexecutive director, effective 31 August 2025, following six years of service on the AMP Limited and AMP Bank Boards, including time as Chair of the Audit Committee and the Board’s ESG & Sustainability Advisory Group.
Ms Slattery has served as a Non-executive director since February 2019, and helped AMP restore trust, improve governance and build future value during a period of great challenge and change.
With the departure of Ms Slattery, AMP has also announced today the appointment of experienced Wealth Platforms and Superannuation industry executive, Linda Elkins to the AMP Limited and AMP Bank Boards, effective 1 September 2025.
Ms Elkins brings to the Board deep industry knowledge and leadership experience in the segments of two of AMP’s key businesses, Platforms and Superannuation. Ms Elkins also has extensive expertise in risk management, governance and relationship management.

Linda has been appointed to the AMP Limited Board as a Non-executive director, effective 1 September 2025, and as a member of the Board Risk and Compliance, and Audit committees. Linda has also been appointed to the AMP Bank Board.
Experience
Linda has more than 30 years of deep and broad experience across Wealth Platforms and Superannuation and the broader wealth management sector, developed through leading businesses and most recently as a senior consultant to the wealth industry.
Prior to joining the AMP Board, Linda was the National Leader, Asset and Wealth Management at KPMG. Over a period of six-years she shaped KPMG’s strategic engagement with the wealth sector and served as client lead partner for some of the firm’s largest wealth clients.
Before joining KPMG Linda was Executive General Manager for Colonial First State, leading 1,000 staff and managing over $130 billion in funds under management (FUM). Her remit included Product, Strategy, Client Services, Fund Services, Marketing, Distribution, and Custom Solutions. She also served on the Colonial First State Superannuation Boards.
Prior to Colonial First State, Linda was Managing Director of Russell’s Superannuation Business, overseeing the Russell Superannuation Solutions Mastertrust and a portfolio of corporate superannuation funds, including Qantas and Australia Post. Her role expanded in 2010 to Managing Director Institutional, covering all institutional clients with approximately $17 billion in FUM and 75% of the Australian P&L.
Her early career spanned retail services, strategy, and technical roles at Commonwealth Funds Management, Commonwealth Bank, and SunSuper.
