Unless otherwise stated, the card payment processing fees are for Mastercard, Visa and Eftpos card transactions. Commonwealth Bank’s fee includes American Express, JCB, UnionPay. American Express is subject to approval and available to eligible customers only. National Australia Bank’s fee includes UnionPay. Westpac’s fee includes UnionPay but not American Express or JCB. Australia and New Zealand Bank. Additional requirements apply for American Express and JCB cards. Additional eligibility criteria applies for UnionPay. Small and mini businesses will be able to apply via an online application form on AMP Bank GO’s website. The grants will be available to AMP Bank GO small business customers who want to further their business through training, development or other ways to grow and support their business. Successful applicants will be selected by a committee of internal and external representatives. Grant applications will open in 2026, with more details made available in early 2026 on this web page and our social channels.
The truth? We don’t know just yet. Right now, we’re laser focused on getting you the lowest pricing on our card payment processing fees to help keep your payment costs as low as we can. Then, whatever profits we do make on card payment processing fees until the end of 2026 will be returned to small and mini business customers through grants.
AMP Bank GO has sought to compare the carded pricing of ‘The Big Four’ as well as other major acquirers in market, based on total in-person card transaction volume.
