The AMP Bank GO Everyday Business account is your central hub for all your business’s money. Unlike a personal account, it’s specifically designed to manage your business income and expenses, making financial tracking easier.

Applying is easy and will take under 10 minutes to apply directly within AMP Bank GO. Here’s what you’ll need to apply for an Everyday Business Account:

  • You must be an Australian resident 15 or over
  • You’ll need a valid email address and Australian mobile number
  • You must have a valid Australian photo ID (Australian driver licence, Australian passport, or foreign passport with Australian Visa)
  • You must be a sole trader, or an Australian private company owned by individuals or single or multiple director, where at least two directors must apply for an account.

Plus, the Australian Government guarantee protects combined deposits up to $250,000 per customer in the unlikely event that a financial institution fails.

While an ABN (Australian Business Number) is highly recommended and often beneficial for operating professionally. An ABN is not required for setting up an Everyday Business Account with AMP Bank GO. However, obtaining an ABN is a straightforward process that further legitimises your business and is worth considering as your mini business grows.

Your business must be a Qantas Business Rewards member to earn and use Qantas Points for the business. Membership of Qantas Business Rewards and the earning of Qantas Points as a business are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. A joining fee usually applies. However, AMP has arranged for complimentary membership for new customers who join here.

You must link the ABN associated with your Qantas Business Rewards Account with a matching ABN in your AMP Bank GO Everyday Business Account to earn 1 Qantas Point for every $10 of your average monthly account balance, up to $5,000,000 in balances. Points will be earned on account balances in accordance with the Transaction Account Terms and Conditions. To determine the average monthly balance for your Transaction Account, add the closing balance from each day in the month together, and then divide the total by the number of days in the month. Qantas Points are calculated at the end of each calendar month and applied to your Qantas Business Rewards account within 30 days.
