Competitive fees
How much you pay, will depend on how you are invested. AFLPA & AFL Industry Super Plan members pay:
- 0.07% pa administration fee (up to a maximum of $350 pa)
- $0.93 weekly member fee ($4 charged monthly)
- 0.015% pa trustee fee
- Paid from super fund’s assets: This amount is currently made up of an estimated administration fee and costs of 0.049% pa and nil trustee expense recovery. This amount is variable and is not deducted from your account balance
- 0.00% to 1.59% pa investment fees and costs and 0.00% to 0.89% pa transaction costs. Please refer to the Investment Guide or the table below for the investment fees and costs and transaction costs for your specific investment option(s).
Additional member activity related fees may apply, such as transaction cost allowance, advice fees for personal advice, or insurance fees. Refer to your welcome letter in conjunction with the fees and costs section in the product disclosure statement and member guide for more information.
How much could a reduction in fees save you?
Small differences in both investment performance and fees and costs can have a substantial impact on your long-term returns.
For example, paying total annual fees and costs of 2% of your account balance rather than 1% could reduce your final return by up to 20% over a 30-year period (for example, reduce it from $100,000 to $80,000).
How your fees might look
AFLPA & AFL Industry MySuper is the default investment option for the AFLPA & AFL Industry Superannuation Plan.
It takes a lifestages approach, automatically applying different levels of risk to your investments, dependent on your age.
