The Australian Football League Players’ Association (AFLPA) has negotiated a superannuation plan with AMP that’s not available anywhere else.

You can access it because you work, or have worked, in the AFL industry as a player, coach or in an administrative or support role.

What's in the plan?

This overview explains the special benefits your employer has negotiated for you.

Key benefits

  • Competitive fees

    Easy to understand, competitive fees.

  • Automatic insurance

Eligible members will have automatic access to a range of insurances to help prepare for the unexpected, as well as a tailored insurance arrangement for members of AFLPA & AFL Super.

  • Unique AFLPA & AFL MySuper investment option

A tailored MySuper investment option which takes a lifestages approach designed to help protect your super savings as you get older.

  • Your fund for life

Even if you leave employment or retire, you can remain an AMP Super Fund member. The same low fees and insurance will continue in the AFLPA & AFL Industry Retained Plan and you’ll have access to AMP pension which caters for retirees of AFLPA & AFL.

How to join

  • 1. Get to know the benefits

Before you sign-up, take some time to understand what comes with your employer sponsored AMP Super plan (this webpage is a good place to start). Or book a chat with a financial coach.

  • 2. Sign-up to AMP Super

If you’ve chosen the AMP Super plan, you can join online in just two minutes.

  • 3. Tell your employer

Once you’ve signed-up to the AMP Super plan, simply follow the prompts to let your employer know where to pay your contributions.

  • 4. Make it work for you

After you’re all set up, we’ll be in touch with ways you can stay on top of your super.

Already have an AMP Super account?

If you have an existing AMP Super account and want to use that instead of joining your employer’s sponsored plan, you can fill out this choice of fund form and give it to your employer.

There may be differences between the two AMP plans, so make sure you compare the features and benefits before deciding – a chat with a super coach may help.

What members are saying about our financial coaches

“All of my questions were answered adequately & I was given sufficient time. Professional service & helpful friendly manner of the workplace manager. I was asked if I would like additional services including webinars to attend as well as an intrafund call (a retirement health plan call & information applicable to my needs) at no (additional) cost to me which are great initiatives!”
