We're making progress, simplifying and putting clients first

As part of our commitment to transform our business we’ve consolidated our range of super and pension products and moved your employer plan to the top-rated CustomSuper®.1

The great news is with CustomSuper, your employees have access to a range of online tools in My AMP to help keep track and check in on their super as often as they’d like. CustomSuper can also cater to a range of investment preferences depending on how involved employees want to be. This includes choosing from our default MySuper lifecycle option, as well as a range of multi-sector and single-sector investment options if they’d like more involvement in their investments.

You can read more about the features and benefits of CustomSuper in the important documents section below.

This is one of the changes we’re making to become a more simplified business that is more employer and member centric.

Ilaine Anderson, Managing Director Workplace Super explains these changes

"Helping our members is without a doubt what motivates AMP employees across all functions of the business to come to work every day. We are dedicated to making a difference."

What you need to know

Important changes to Super Guarantee contributions

Given your employees have moved to a new product, the Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI) required to make contributions into your employees’ accounts has changed. To avoid disruptions to your employee super contribution process, please make sure your payroll administrator is told about the new USI.

The new USI is: AMP0277AU

We’ll also provide you with your employees' new account details shortly after the move to help with this.

Processing delays

As a result of the move, there may be delays of up to eight business days from the date of the move for processing transaction requests (such as contributions, withdrawals, premium payments, investment switches, insurance changes and account changes).

Any requests or changes to your plan we receive during this period will be processed as soon as possible.

My AMP

Changes will flow through to My AMP with all updates being reflected by Monday 1 June 2020.

Frequently asked questions

How have employees be told about these changes?

  • We’ve written to employees who have an AMP product with details explaining these changes.
  • We’ve also provided briefing information on the changes to employer account managers.

What do I need to do?

USI changes
As your employees have moved to a new product, the Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI) required to make contributions into your employees account changed. Please ensure your payroll administrator gets notice of the new USI, to avoid disruptions to your employee super contribution process.

The new USI is: AMP0277AU.

How has the move impacted my employees?

As part of the move, employees have moved to a more contemporary super product, CustomSuper. For information explaining the features and benefits of their new plan, employees can read the PDS available at Custom Super.

Have my members' fees changed?

Overall, total fees and cost for the vast majority of employee members haven’t increased. However, for some members this hasn’t been the case due to changes to the timing of contributions tax deductions as a part of the move. If an employee member (whether in a MySuper or Choice portfolio) has been affected by this, they will receive a one-off adjustment to their account equivalent to 18 months of likely financial impact.
