We're making progress, simplifying and putting clients first
As part of our commitment to transform our business, we've consolidated our range of super and pension products and moved all our products and employer super plans under one trustee, N.M. Superannuation Pty Limited, and super fund, AMP’s Super Directions Fund.
The great news is that despite these changes, your employer plan remains in the same product with the same features and benefits.
This is one of the changes we’re making to become a more simplified business which is more employer and member centric.
Plan Accounts - Changes to AMP Cash Plus option
On 7 May 2020, the AMP Cash Plus investment option was closed. If your employer plan was using AMP Cash Plus on this date, any investment in this option including future investment profiles set to this option was automatically switched to AMP Super Cash.
Processing delays
As a result of the move, there may be delays of up to eight business days from the date of the move for processing transaction requests (such as contributions, withdrawals, premium payments, investment switches, insurance changes and account changes).
Any requests or changes to your plan we receive during this period will be processed as soon as possible.
My AMP
Changes will flow through to My AMP with all updates being reflected by Monday 1 June 2020.
How have employees been told about these changes?
We’ve written to employees who have an AMP product with details explaining these changes.
We’ve also provided briefing information on the changes to employer account managers.
What do I need to do?
ABN changes
The ABN associated with the fund you currently make contributions to on your employees’ behalf is now: 78 421 957 449. Please ensure that this information is provided to your payroll administrator.
How has the proposed move impacted my employees?
The trust for the plan you offer your employees has changed, along with the trustee who issues the product who is a member of the AMP group. These changes have not impacted your employees or the service and support that they currently receive.
Closing and replacement investment options
As a result of the move, if you’re invested in:
- the (default) AMP MySuper Balanced option or one of the AMP Lifecycle active options, these options have been closed and replaced with the AMP MySuper (a lifecycle investment option).
- the (choice) AMP MySuper Balanced option, this option has been closed and replaced with the Super Easy Balanced option.
