What's the Code?

Understanding insurance in super can sometimes be confusing, especially when trying to compare it across different super plans and insurers.

To help, the superannuation industry created the Code - a set of common standards across the industry aiming to provide you with more clarity and consistency about insurance in super, so you can feel more confident about making a choice.

We're committed
The Code is voluntary and AMP has committed to complying with it for the products listed in our transition plan. You can learn more, and access the full Code on ASFA's website.

How we're meeting the Code

We're already compliant with a number of the Code’s requirements, and are working hard to meet the remaining requirements by 1 January 2022.

Our transition plan outlines how we're doing this, our progress, and when we'll be compliant with each requirement.

What does it mean for you?

Importantly, you don't need to do anything.

Our compliance with the Code means we're committed to improving our processes, as well as the insurance offered through our super - so it's appropriate, affordable and won't erode your super balance.
