How do I update my details?


Updating your details is easy

You can update your contact details online through My AMP, on the AMP tablet app or via our get back in contact with AMP form.

You should update your details if:

  • you have moved house
  • you have a new email address
  • you have changed your name
  • you have a new phone number
  • information in our systems is incorrect.

  1. Log into My AMP
  2. Select 'View details'
  3. Select 'Personal details'.

Once you're in the 'Personal details' section you'll be able to change your:

  • Title
  • Middle name
  • Email address
  • Contact numbers (home, mobile, work)
  • Home address
  • Postal address.

If you have updated an address you will be required to associate it to the relevant accounts.  

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left hand corner of the app or swipe from left to right to reveal the menu.
    Select 'Personal details' and tap the 'Contact details' tile.
  2. If you are an AMP Bank customer, you can see your email and mobile contact details. To update these details, you will need to call AMP on 1300 657 801 or visit My AMP.
  3. If you are a superannuation, investment, insurance and or retirement customer you can update your title, middle name, email, telephone numbers and job title here in the app. For all other updates, please call AMP on 1300 657 801.
  4. If you are logged into the app with your company's profile, you can update the company's telephone and location details.
  5. Once you have finished, tap 'Save'.

AMP Superannuation, Retirement, Investment or Insurance products

To update your details online outside of My AMP, visit You will need your existing personal details and member number. If you're not sure what your member number is, you'll find it on your Welcome letter or Plan statement. 


Once these have been confirmed you will be asked to advise your new details and submit them to be updated.

To update your name, you'll need to complete a "change of name" form and provide 3 forms of identification.

You'll need to provide:

  1. a primary photographic ID document
  2. a primary non - photographic ID document
  3. a secondary ID document.

AMP Bank Everyday, Savings, Term deposits and Loans

  1. Log into My AMP
  2. Select the profile icon at the top right-hand corner
  3. Choose 'Manage personal details'.

What personal detais can be changed within My AMP:

  • Email address
  • Contact numbers (home, work)
  • Residential address
  • Postal address.

If you need to change your security mobile phone number, please call us on 13 30 30. 

To update your name, you'll need to complete an "Identification verification" form, completing sections 2, 3 and 4. You'll also need to provide certified identification as outlined on page 3 of the form.

If you've already registered for My AMP and can't remember your account number, check your AMP statement or call us on 1300 300 465 Monday to Friday 8:30am – 7pm (AEST) or email us on

You can manage your personal details including your change of address, contact details and numbers online at or by logging in to My AMP.

Otherwise, download the change of address and personal details form, complete it and send it to us via fax, email or post.
