Despite a challenging period, we have continued with important changes to create a better, simpler future.

This includes the sale of our mature and life insurance business, AMP Life Limited (AMP Life) to Resolution Life (Resolution Life) Group.

The sale of AMP Life was first announced on 25 October 2018, and since this time, we have been carefully working through the process of separating these two parts of our business.

The sale is now complete, and although AMP Life is under new ownership, members can feel safe that it will continue to deliver on member promises and services.

Importantly, the type and amount of insurance cover under each member’s policy, as well as the insurance premium rates charged, remain unchanged.

AMP Life will remain well capitalised and paying claims will always be a priority.

The first step of our transformation is now complete

AMP clients with a super, retirement or insurance product that’s part of this change would have received communications from us explaining the changes and confirming they’ve taken place.

As of 15 May 2020, we have moved all products that are part of this change under one trustee and super fund. There’s no change to North platform products.

It’s important to read any communications you receive from us to understand what these changes mean for you.
