Along with other life insurers in Australia, AMP Life supports the FSC initiative to ensure healthcare workers are not prevented from obtaining or amending their life insurance cover through exposure to coronavirus.
Our customers who are healthcare workers can amend their current policies, regardless of their risk of exposure to COVID-19. The normal underwriting process and product rules will apply to individuals for their occupation and for health conditions. This includes income protection insurance, trauma insurance, total and permanent disability insurance and life insurance.
Our customers should not be concerned about their current AMP Life policy in relation to COVID-19.
- AMP Life covers its customers 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world - regardless of travel warnings - so long as the usual terms and conditions of the policy are met. There are no special requirements relating to coronavirus. The regular terms and conditions of the policy must be met.
