David believes in developing long-term relationships and is always available to help clients adapt to changing circumstances and opportunities as they arise.

David holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of South Australia, a Diploma of Financial Planning and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. He is also a member of the Association of Financial Advisers.

In his spare time, David is a keen musician and writes and records original music with his long-time friends.

Phil joined AMP Advice Wayville in 2014 as a Para Planner before becoming an Associate Adviser in 2016. Phil values his clients and is dedicated to seeing them achieve their goals in life. Phil takes a personal interest in his clients to ensure they feel secure now but also into their future.

Life is a journey with ups and downs. Phil knows well the impact that these times can have in our lives and hopes to provide guidance along the road. 

Away from work Phil enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah, is passionate about his Adelaide Crows, and regularly volunteers in his local Church.

Kathy joined AMP Advice Wayville in 1999. She has extensive experience as a financial adviser with over 20 years in the finance industry.Kathy has been dedicated to ongoing education since she commenced in the industry and she is a member of both the Financial Planning Association of Australia as well as the Self Managed Super Fund Association.

Kathy provides personal advice in areas of planning for retirement and income needs, superannuation, Centrelink and investments.Kathy enjoys providing clients with practical insights and guidance within complex legislation changes and pointing out potential issues for clients during changing times. 

Kathy’s goals are to ensure that her clients are educated over time, which will enable them to be able to have complete confidence in the decisions/choices that they make regarding their own ongoing financial situation. 

During her personal time, Kathy and her husband enjoying spending time with their three children, family and friends.This often involves a lot of kid’s sports, such as netball, football and swimming on the weekends.

Patrick joined AMP Advice Wayville in 2010, in a Management position in Para Planning before focusing on providing holistic financial advice to his clients as a Private Client Adviser. This allowed Patrick to combine his technical expertise with his ability to communicate well with people, forging strong, long term bonds with clients to assist them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Patrick loves spending time with his young family. He is also an avid sports lover as a long term South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) member and supporter of the Adelaide Crows.

Sharon joined AMP Advice Wayville in 2003.  She has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years and has extensive experience as a Financial Adviser.  Sharon has continued her education since she commenced in the industry and she is a member of both the Financial Planning Association of Australia and the Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Association.

Sharon derives much pleasure in helping people with their money, particularly the opportunity to meet a wide array of people and being able to learn about their circumstances and then guide and assist them to meet their goals and aspirations.

She can explain financial strategies in “plain English” to her clients and provides personal advice covering a range of planning areas including retirement and income needs, superannuation, Centrelink, investment and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.  

Away from work Sharon’s interests include spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as socialising with friends.  This includes when possible taking trips to the river to water ski and a being involved in range of sporting activities with her daughter.

Outside of work, Fiona likes to travel and play sport, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.

During the past 30 years with AMP Advice Wayville Trevor has held a variety of roles including financial adviser and managerial roles in both para-planning, compliance and superannuation administration. In 1992, Trevor became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

As a Private Client Adviser, Trevor’s role is to provide financial planning advice to clients, with the view that these clients have a close long term working relationship with Trevor, so he can help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Trevor has a particular interest in superannuation and retirement planning areas and helps people plan successfully for their long-term goals and to manage any changes that come their way. 

Away from work, Trevor enjoys travel, spending time with his wife Lesley and their two adult children, Aimee and Matthew. He is also an avid Tennis player, becoming a tennis professional in his earlier days prior to becoming a financial planner. For a number of years, Trevor was ranked No 1 in South Australia.

As the Personal Insurance Adviser, Gerry has the knowledge on the plethora of products out there, and which ones are best suited to meeting our clients’ needs. We often ask the question,

Gerry is looking forward to showing you that wealth protection is as important as wealth creation!

Gerry is married to Natalie, and has a son Matthew, enjoys soccer and golf. He and his family enjoy the company of family and friends, going to Adelaide United games and enjoy travelling locally and overseas as much as possible.

Kate joined our team as an Adviser Assistant, later becoming a Para Planner prior to her role as a Financial Planner. This enabled her to develop her skills and provided her with a strong technical basis for the provision of sound financial advice. 

Kate enjoys educating her clients about financial planning strategies in order to help her clients achieve their lifestyle goals and objectives.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys travel and scrapbooking and enjoys spending time with her husband and their young daughter.

Emma Franks

Emma has been working for AMP Advice Wayville over nine years in various roles from administering client portfolios for advisers, Executive Assistant/Director (SMSF Services) and Team Leader/Retail Services and Specialist Services team. Now a Client Relationship Manager, Emma supports advisers with new client and existing client engagement, assisting the implementation of advice with relation to superannuation, investment, SMSF, Debt and Cashflow.

Emma is passionate about assisting clients in meeting their financial goals and building long term relationships. 

Emma is currently studying for the Bachelor of Financial Planning and is looking forward to continuing her studies to expand her skills and technical knowledge in financial planning industry. 

Away from the office Emma is a keen triathlete and loves spend time outdoors and travelling.

Brigitta joined AMP Advice in July 2020, after working as a Relationship Manager for 3 years with a large French Private Bank in Luxembourg. Originally from Hungary, Brigitta studied in Belgium and the started her career in Luxembourg, before moving to Adelaide with her husband Robert. 

During her time in Europe, she gained valuable experience working in a multicultural environment whilst providing advice to clients on various wealth protection and accumulation strategies.

She is passionate about helping clients to preserve and grow their wealth and accompanying them as they achieve their goals.

Brigitta is currently working as part of the Associate team with a long-term goal of becoming an Adviser. Her current role involves assisting Advisers with product research, development of wealth and retirement strategies, and portfolio selection for clients of AMP Advice.

She has completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and is looking forward to embarking on the journey of a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning.

Outside of work, Brigitta loves orienteering and enjoys hiking with her husband all across beautiful South Australia.

Arnold Idicula

Arnold joined AMP Advice in 2019. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is currently pursuing further studies to become a certified financial planner.

Arnold is passionate about learning and understanding people’s needs, values and goals from all walks of life, and in turn helping them develop a strategic plan that can lead to the fulfilment of those needs, values and goals.

Outside of work, Arnold enjoys mountain hiking and frequently takes part in long distance running.

Diana has worked in the Financial Services industry for her entire career with almost 25 years spent at AMP Advice Wayville. 

Diana moved to her current role as Advice Development Manager in 2009 where she co-ordinates our compliance requirements and monitors the training of our adviser team. Diana enjoys working with our advisers, supporting them in the provision of quality advice in a constantly evolving regulatory environment.

Away from work, Diana enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs and also gardening. She is a keen runner and enjoys engaging in local running events and in 2017 ran in her first half-marathon. Diana has a goal to complete multiple half-marathons and then to progress to running in her first full marathon in 2019.

Sally Thomson

Sally is the Lead Client Relationship Manager (CRM) at AMP Advice Wayville. Sally leads our team of support staff that includes, client and retail services, marketing, and our concierge team. 

Sally has held several different roles since commencing in the financial services industry with AXA Australia in Melbourne in 2002. Sally returned to her hometown of Adelaide in 2007 to take on the role of Digital Business Consultant (AMP) before moving in to her current role in 2014.

Sally enjoys working closely with financial advisers, the CRM team, colleagues, and clients in order to assist with the advice process. In addition, Sally enjoys training and mentoring the team in order to assist our staff to achieve their own goals.

Outside of work, Sally’s passions are spending time with her family and friends and planning the next holiday!

Lucia Monaghan

Lucia joined AMP Advice in September 2020. She has had 14 years’ experience in the Financial planning industry.  During this time Lucia has always enjoyed building a rapport with Advisers and clients with her outstanding administration skills and caring attitude.  

Now as a Client Relationship Manager at AMP, Lucia is motivated and passionate about assisting everyone, be it clients, advisers, or work colleagues, to achieve their goals. Lucia very much appreciates being part of a team that supports and encourages each other.  

Outside of work Lucia is the proud mother of 2 children and enjoys being outdoors in her garden or going for walks, except when it is winter and then it is a good book inside.

Tony started at AMP Advice Wayville at the beginning of 2017. He helps the Concierge team and Advisers with any administration tasks that need to be done including regular scanning of documents into the IT system, maintaining stocks of documents, kitchen maintenance and finalising review minutes.

Tony enjoys being an effective and efficient part of the team and helping people to achieve outcomes.

In his spare time, Tony enjoys playing table-top games, reading about science and history and stitching embroidery projects.

June Heng

June joined the team at AMP Advice Wayville in February 2014 as an adviser assistant. She has enjoyed the team work in supporting the advisers by adding value to the services we provide to the clients.

From her previous work experiences as an application consultant and banking analyst, she also assists in reviewing exceptions and data integrity issues, as well as covers for paraplanning role in costs comparisons and for specialist share services role in the support of self-managed super funds. She has previously been involved in project consulting roles in the conversion of international application systems for banking and financial planning such as XPlan and COIN.

She loves her camping and 4WDriving adventures, hopes to attain her Private Pilot’s Licence and is enthusiastic to participate hands-on in charity such as Ozharvest.

Mandy Camac

Mandy joined the team in 2018 and has over 11 years' experience in the Financial Services industry. Starting out as a Customer Service Officer and working up to Customer Service Supervisor she enjoys focusing on great service and compliance.

Now as one of our Client Relationship Managers, Mandy enjoys building rapport with clients, working amongst a great team and being able to support our Advisers in being able to give their clients the best possible outcome to achieve their goals.

Outside of work she loves spending time with her husband and two children and planning their yearly getaway to Phuket in Thailand. Mandy also keeps fit with Pilates and taking her two boisterous but lovable Labradors for walks (although, they mostly walk her!).

Thea joined the AMP Advice Wayville team in 2013 as an Assistant, soon moving to the role of Executive Assistant to the General Manager. Thea’s current role of Executive Assistant provides support to the Head of AMP Advice Wayville and the broader Adviser team. 

During this time Thea has gained extensive knowledge of the business and enjoys assisting her colleagues by developing and improving processes.

Thea loves the beach, enjoys spending time outdoors and catching up with family and friends.

Leona has been at AMP Advice Wayville since 2014 originally as an office receptionist and currently now a member of the support team as a Client Relationship Manager.

Caroline Gooding

Caroline began her career in Financial Services when she joined AMP Advice Wayville in 2007 as an Adviser Assistant and completed her Diploma in Financial Planning (Financial Services). She has worked in various roles within the company including Executive Assistant, Team Leader Client Services, Marketing Coordinator and now a Client Relationship Manager (Business Support).

AMP Advice goals-based approach to financial planning and lifestyle financial planning is something Caroline is very passionate about. Caroline is also passionate about caring for our clients. Looking after them and Advisers guiding them as if they were our own family and friends – in fact many of them are. 

Caroline’s personal goals include maintaining a work/life balance – striving in and enjoying her career as well as being a mum to 3 young boys.

Sonya Hamilton

Sonya commenced employment with AMP Advice Wayville in February 2016 and her role involves the more transactional side of the business, processing client requests within their Super and Pension Accounts, Establishment of new accounts, working alongside Advisers on a day to day basis to keep things running smoothly and up to date.

She began her career within the Banking Financial Services Industry in 1999, working her way up the ladder from Teller to Personal and Home Lending before moving into the Back-Office side of the business. She emigrated from Scotland in 2007 and continued in the Banking Industry, before taking the change of path into Financial Planning in 2016. Sonya enjoys working in an Industry where we can make a difference to someone’s life.

Away from the office Sonya enjoys life and exploring this beautiful country with family, giving time to help at Guide Dogs SA (she is a big animal lover) and shopping like lots of other ladies.

Barbara moved into the area of Financial planning with AMP Advice Wayville in 2014 after coming from a background of being a Financial and Administrative Manager in the advertising industry in South Africa for 20 years.  In this client service industry she utilised her planning, administrative and accounting skills always aware that clients are number one and as such deserve full attention to detail, minimal errors and total care.

Barbara enjoys interaction with clients and especially making sure that our clients can feel be assured that their financial needs are being handled efficiently, compliantly and with care and attention to detail.  Her passion is efficient, trustworthy organisation and the financial planning industry has plenty of scope for employees to exercise it.

Outside of work she is a dedicated family person, a proud mother and grandmother - an avid reader, enjoys watching every kind of sport, especially AFL, still goes to the gym and walks at least 8 kilometres twice a week.  Her hidden passion is seeking the meaning of life and all it entails.

Sam is an Information Technology professional with over 30 years’ experience as a software engineer within number of national and international large organisations before joining AMP Advice Wayville in 2011.

He is an effective IT professional who has the ability to troubleshoot day-to-day software related issues, design technical solutions to fit the customer’s needs and establish and maintain effective relationships with users and team members.

Sam embraces creativity and focuses on finding new and innovative ideas to improve all areas of IT service.

Sam and his family moved to Australia from Egypt in June 2010 and settled in Adelaide June 2011 when he joined our team. On weekends Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Gordon Clifford

Gordon has been with AMP Advice Wayville since 2000 and has been a vital part of the management team since then. Gordon’s role as Finance Manager, is to manage all aspects of the financial reporting and treasury management of the AMP advice Wayville group.

Gordon has been a member of the Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand since 1979 and has worked extensively in Banking and Financial Services for over 40 years in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

Away from work Gordon is heavily involved in Surf Life Saving with over 40 years of service. He is currently a member of Glenelg Surf Life Saving Club as coaching co-ordinator of their March Past teams. He has accumulated three State, and one Australian championship in that event. He is also a beach official for South Australian surf carnivals holding the position of starter for water and surf craft events.

Emma joined the team as a receptionist for AMP Advice Wayville in 2011. 

With her friendly nature Emma likes to interact with clients whether it’s on the phone or in the office. She always goes out of her way to make clients feel welcome and at ease. 

Client satisfaction is very important to Emma, it makes her happy to see clients leave the office with a smile.

When away from the office, Emma loves spending time with her husband, family & friends. She enjoys cooking and listening to music in her spare time. She is also very passionate about maintaining a healthy & active lifestyle.

Natalie McAvoy

Natalie began at AMP Advice Wayville 14 years ago as a part time administration assistant before moving on to become a fulltime Adviser Assistant. More recently she moved into the Receptionist role, which she felt is where her strength was as she loves dealing with people and making the best first impression possible. She enjoys making our clients feel welcome and special, both face to face and over the phone.

Natalie also enjoys being the office social/special occasion planner incorporating milestone birthdays, weddings, baby showers, Easter and especially Christmas (Kris Kringle) Also she enjoys fundraising for various charities.

Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband Gerry and son Matthew and with her family both here and interstate and her friends. She also enjoys travelling and photography and her goal is to go to Hawaii for her 50th birthday and while there renew her wedding vows.

Sheena joined the team as a receptionist for AMP Advice in January 2020. She has 19 years Financial and 8 years reception experience.

Sheena is a people person with a bright and bubbly personality, she has a good sense of humour and enjoys providing a warm and friendly interaction with clients, whether attending the office or over the phone.

Sheena enjoys spending time with her partner travelling around Australia, to visit family & friends, especially her daughter and new granddaughter.

Hobbies include, reading, baking, going to the movies and spending time with her fur baby.
