Judith has 27 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She helps clients navigate the complexity of legislation and implement financial strategies that will work towards reaching a client’s lifestyle goals. Over the years she has seen her clients raise their children and retire and has been able to share with clients the journey that is financial planning. She enjoys using her experience to provide comprehensive and practical advice to a wide range of clients in a variety of situations, including families, professionals, small business and rural operations.

Judith’s goal is to support her clients in any decision they may need to make in life and act as a sounding board and the voice of reason through their journey.

Judith finds the most rewarding part of the position to be when her clients achieve their goals, especially retirement.

Outside of the office, Judith is passionate about giving back to the community and is currently the Finance Chair of Meals on Wheels Queensland and Treasurer of Cairns Meals on Wheels.

Jody Payne

Since 2016, Jody has provided strategic financial advice with a particular focus on maximising opportunities for people in their superannuation, constructing investment portfolios and ensuring assets and lifestyle are protected.

Significant importance is placed on understanding people’s lifestyle goals and tailoring strategies and investments around them. These strategies draw on Jody’s strong background in superannuation, retirement planning, investment classes and themes, tax and social security.

Having completed a Bachelor of Business and over the last 18 years, Jody has worked to provide useful plans to the people who trust her. She works for AMP Advice to improve financial futures and looks forward to continuing to do so.

Jody derives satisfaction from giving people the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are making the most of their financial resources and the opportunities available to them, which is steering them to a more certain financial future.

Outside of the office, Jody likes to get outdoors with her family and friends.

Amanda Wilesmith

Amanda has been working in the financial planning industry since 2001 and during this time has worked in a number of support roles including head office operations, compliance and paraplanning. Her solid history has provided her with a wealth of experience to further explore the field as one of our Associate Advisers. As well as assisting a number of advisers in our North Queensland office to formulate strategies for our clients, Amanda also gets the opportunity in this role to interact with clients on a more personal level and often attends client meetings.

Away from work, Amanda is a wife and mother to 3 beautiful children. She and her family love to go boating on the Great Barrier Reef and travelling both domestically and internationally. 

Having completed a science degree majoring in mathematics and psychology, financial planning was a natural pathway to follow. Understanding clients and formulating strategies to help them achieve their goals is a wonderful feeling.

Whilst continuing to help clients achieve their goals Amanda wants to continue to build on her financial planning knowledge by attaining the Masters of Financial Planning.

Marinda worked in various research and accounting roles before joining the financial planning industry in 2017. She is currently working part-time and when not at work she enjoys spending time with her family.  

Marinda strives to build, maintain and strengthen the company's relationship with all clients by responding effectively and in a timely manner to clients’ needs. 

Marinda continues to develop her knowledge of financial planning and endeavours to complete her Diploma in Financial Planning by mid 2021.

Brenda Hill

Brenda has been in the financial industry since 2007, commencing her initial foray with a Darwin based company as a Client Relationships Manager. After taking a 4.5 year break to raise her son, Brenda returned to the Client Relationship Manager role with ipac in Cairns.

Working part-time gives Brenda the opportunity to spend time with her husband and lively school aged son and to enjoy catching up with her close knit, extended family.

Brenda believes in the intrinsic confidence that comes from having comprehensive financial advice, giving a sense of security through all walks of life.

Brenda's goal is to continue to provide effective and timely administrative services to the growing number of clients seeking advice.
