Rayya focuses on ways to enhance the client experience to ensure they are in a better position than prior to seeking advice and enjoys being visible and approachable. She believes the most rewarding responsibilities are advising and mentoring clients to achieve all the facets of their financial planning goals and needs and helping them tick all the boxes.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and leads a healthy lifestyle, engaging in weight and resistance training and practices hot yoga and at times leads classes.

He also holds a Master of Financial Planning, Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). Due to his deep knowledge and understanding of client’s needs, he is also appointed by the Courts to provide advice to those with catastrophic injuries.

Gareth specialises in holistic financial planning and investment management.  He has gained a strong technical knowledge in retirement planning, cash flow and budgeting, superannuation (incl. SMSF), investments outside super, savings plans and general wealth creation.

Prior to joining ipac, Oswaldo worked in a boutique Brisbane based Financial Planning firm advising clients at various stages of life. As a financial planner, he has extensive experience in creating and implementing financial planning strategies, particularly in the areas of wealth accumulation, asset class interaction and retirement planning.

He believes the first key to success is having clear goals, not just a bucket list.  As a Financial Planner, he assists clients to identify those goals and the means of achieving their objectives.  It is about much more than just maximising wealth, it is also about helping clients live the lives they dream of. 

Oswaldo also specialises in working with personal injury clients and their families, helping them understand their options, invest their compensation payment and manage their finances for the long term.

Marc has a passion for providing solutions, choice and support to his clients. He can provide comprehensive personal advice and he has specialist knowledge in superannuation, retirement planning, constructing investment portfolios and Centrelink issues.

He takes great pride in building long-standing personal relationships with every client and will always seek to fully understand their particular goals and objectives before recommending any strategy or investment.

Mark Karhula

Mark joined AMP in 2011 in their Paraplanning division, writing statements of advice for advisers within the AMP network and more recently moving into the Associate role within ipac.

Previously he has spent time in both small boutiques as well as larger institutions such as Macquarie and Suncorp and has been in the Financial Service Industry since 2004. He has a passion to find ways to improve clients' financial wellbeing through a structured and methodical approach.

Mark has completed the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is constantly working to further his education.

During that time he has assisted countless clients and worked closely with advisers throughout Australia. He provides insight and support to financial advisers in the area of strategy and compliance, ensuring that the best possible advice outcome is delivered. His strengths are in the lead up to retirement and in retirement spaces.

Mark understands the importance of balance and enjoys time with his family as well as bike riding in charity events to raise awareness for important issues.

Prior to joining AMP Advice he has worked as Financial Planner in Brisbane as a representative of the Advice Distribution Practice for one of the Big 4 financial institutions.

Toby is passionate about helping families and individuals plan for a better financial future. His strengths are building strong relationships with the ability to simplify complex information, coach clients and influence decision making through financial literacy.

His experience extends to delivering strategic advice solutions across wealth accumulation & protection, superannuation, retirement planning and social security.

Outside of the office, Toby is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys 4WD adventures. Most importantly he takes pride in spending quality time with his young family.

Having started out in the industry at the beginning of her working career, Vanessa has built up a deep understanding of what clients want and expect from their financial adviser. She takes great pride in building long-standing personal relationships with every client and will always seek to fully understand their particular goals and objectives before recommending any strategy or investment.

Vanessa believes that the key to a good adviser/client relationship is trust, and she builds this with her clients by listening and being empathetic to their needs.  "I want my clients to know I am always there for them and that I am not just their financial adviser but a friend as well".

Hannah has been in the financial planning industry since 2011 and in the financial services industry for over 9 years. Hannah believes in building longstanding relationships with her clients and feels personally rewarded when clients achieve their goals. She prides herself on being very personable and approachable as well as having a knack for being able to translate the jargon into a clear and concise manner for clients to understand. By delving deep into client objectives, Hannah is able to formulate strategies tailored to clients individual needs.

She believes the key to clients success is firstly to identify and set clear goals and secondly, to commit to those goals with clear conviction. Her role as a Private Client Adviser is to nurture, guide and educate her clients, in a financial sense, to achieve their desired outcomes. Jon Papinczak

Jon has attained a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Finance from the University of Queensland and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). He is also presently completing the highly regarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation.

Jon is a very resourceful and caring adviser who loves to build strong collaborative relationships with his clients.

Jessica started her career as an Adviser on the beautiful Sunshine Coast where she worked in a boutique firm for 5 years before moving to Brisbane City and spending the next 5 years as a Senior Adviser in a large organisation.

Her experience has seen her work professionally with a wide range of clients and build an extensive knowledge base of wealth management tools and strategies. Jessica believes that having a clear financial plan can make the world of difference to her clients' lives and their future. 

She takes the time to educate her clients to ensure that they understand all aspects of their finances and are comfortable during every step of the process. No matter what the challenge, Jessica is there to help guide her clients in making the right decisions during their journey together.

Prior to joining AMP Advice, Rachel worked at another AMP licenced practice. It was here that Rachel’s passion for goals based financial advice was ignited, and her natural skill with technology was put to good use. She enjoys being at the cutting edge of the industry and helping her clients articulate and visualise their goals using AMP Goals 360 tools.

Rachel was initially trained as a Financial Adviser by the award-winning AMP Horizons program, where she graduated second in a group of 30 provisional financial planners. Academic excellence is something she strives towards, having won the Dean’s Award for Excellence upon graduation from QUT with her Bachelor’s degree.

Rachel has experience across various financial planning strategies including retirement planning, budgeting and cashflow, debt reduction, insurance and wealth creation and enjoys working with clients at various stages of life.  

Rachel is passionate about client education, she will go out of her way to ensure she communicates complex concepts and strategies into client-friendly language, enabling her clients to feel empowered and informed. Forming close, trusted relationships with her clients gives her the utmost job satisfaction.

Rachel is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and intends on completing a Masters in Financial Planning in the near future.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her Husband, family and friends and is kept very busy and active by two very large dogs who together bring over 110kgs of laughs, love and many, many daily steps to her life.

Prior to her move to Australia, Elaine worked in the UK for Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in their Private Banking division helping to personalise a range of investment solutions for clients. 

Elaine joined ipac in 2011 as a Client Relationship Manager, later becoming a Paraplanner before her current role as an Associate Adviser.

Elaine enjoys meeting and helping people from a diverse range of backgrounds achieve their investment goals without getting consumed by continual changes to legislation.

Elaine is committed to continuing her education to further her career in the Financial Planning Industry.

Outside of work, Elaine enjoys travel and sport, sometimes combining both for a trip overseas to watch rugby or soccer.

Previously she has spent time in a small boutique firm and worked as a Personal Loans and Insurance specialist for the Commonwealth Bank.

Sandy has completed a Bachelor of Business Management, Diploma of Financial Planning and is continuing her studies in higher education.

During her time, she has ensured that many advisers achieved their clients objectives, and provided a professional and high level of service to clients directly.

Sandy is a member of many clubs and societies in Queensland and enjoys volunteering within the community.

He firmly believes that with the right advice, coaching and support clients can own their tomorrow. Marion started her career in the insurance industry working mainly with general insurance and so the move to financial advice felt right.

Having worked her way from receptionist to Client Relationship Manager to now Lead Client Relationship Manager, Marion is always basically looking after the needs of her/our clients.  She is always looking for new ways to better serve our clients who entrust us with, in some cases, their life savings.

Marion started with this company over 20 years ago, during that time she has seen the significant affect financial advice can have on our clients lives and that gives her the passion to continue to helping people in any way she can to achieve their goals.

Being a beach lover, Marion enjoys spending time at the coast, being ever so diligent in her sun protection.  She also enjoys doing charity walks and feels this helps (if only in a small way) towards funding the research and development of various causes.

Rene has a personal interest in managing her finances well as she made one of her biggest investments of her life when she bought her first home in 2012. She is passionate about working in an industry where she can learn how this can be managed and achieved, and help others do the same.

Having an Italian background, Rene's passion is anything food related and loves to cook. In her spare time she also loves to travel and is a passionate sports fanatic who counts AFL, aleague, cricket, tennis and rugby league amongst her favourites. Justine Blanco

Justine started with AMP Advice in June 2014.  Justine has 19 years’ experience working as an Administrator in various sectors of the Finance and Superannuation industry.

Justine started her career working for various Stockbrokers and Fund Managers in Sydney, before taking a position in Wollongong with Oasis Asset Management, where she worked to expand her knowledge of all aspects of the Administration of Superannuation accounts.  After 4 years in the role of Administrator, Justine accepted the role of Senior Training Officer where she was responsible for the training of the administration team for another 4 years. 

In 2012, Justine moved to Queensland where she applied her knowledge of Superannuation with ESP Group, eventually moving into her current role of Client Relationship Manager with AMP Advice.

Having worked in a variety of areas within the Finance industry, Justine finds that working in the Advice area provides her with an opportunity to utilise all of her industry knowledge.  

Justine enjoys working closely with our Advisers to enable clients to reach their life goals.

Justine is currently studying for her Diploma of Financial Planning and her focus is to complete this study.

Diana Bolton

Diana joined AMP Advice (formerly ipac) in 2002 as her first employment upon emigrating from the UK.  Diana really values the relationships she has developed over the years with our clients and the staff. Diana works closely with advisers to support clients with their administration requirements and assist with the training and development of the team members. The majority of her previous employment has been client focused, mainly within retail as well as some time within the Human Resources and Training area.

Diana had never previously worked within the financial planning industry, however since moving into this area she believes in the value of financial advice especially within the personal injury sector and the benefits of pre-retirement advice.

Diana is working towards a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature or History. Diana enjoys travel and has completed the Gold Coast Marathon and is looking for her next challenge.

Allison Collins

Allison is a Client Relationship Manger in the Brisbane office and assists her team of Financial Advisers. Allison joined AMP in June 2014 after returning from living in New Zealand and Perth for 4 years. Allison started her career in the finance industry in 2007 at Wilson HTM Investment Group.  

Allison enjoys knowing she has helped clients reach their financial goals and being able to create a relationship with them over time where they feel comfortable with her and they can talk about topics other than financial planning.

Allison and her husband are currently doing up their first home, they are hoping to build a big alfresco area to be able to entertain their friends and family.

Sharon Cowen

Sharon has been with AMP Advice (formerly ipac) since 2006.  Initially in the Sydney office as a client relationship manager before moving to the Brisbane office in the same role. She really enjoys the interaction she has with the private client advisers and especially our clients.

Her background has always been client focused. Before moving to Australia, she lived in New Zealand and previous to that, she was in the UK. She worked in the prestige motor vehicle industry as a service adviser prior to joining ipac in 2006. 

Sharon wanted a career change but still within client service and AMP Advice Ann Street was the perfect opportunity for her. She then found what she loves to do most is to help people achieve their financial goals.  She takes great pride in her job and love knowing that she is helping people.

Sharon and her husband's two children are their world and she wants to be a good role model for them.  She wants to show them if you love and care about people and what you do then they will enjoy life and succeed. 

Tracy Cumbus

Tracy has been in the finance industry for over 12 years now and has been working with AMP Advice for over 5 years. She began her journey with Tynan Mackenzie as a Client Relationship Manager, assisting clients and supporting advisers implementing and maintain client's portfolios. 

After some years she took a short break on maternity leave and returned to help establish the Review Team. The Review Team has been up and running for just over a year now and is helping both our clients and co-workers understand and adhere to the ever changing financial and legislative environment

After many years in the hotel and hospitality industry Tracy decided it was time for a change and to really challenge her. She is highly organised and analytical who loves customer contact so thought client relations in finance would be a great fit.

As well as living life to the fullest with her two young daughters and fur baby "Luna", she is a keen photographer and traveller.

Her goal is to continue travelling and showing her daughters the beauty and diversity of different cultures and locations around the world. 

Stephen Russell-Clark

Stephen came to AMP Advice through ipac. For nearly fifteen years, he has been providing administrative support to a number of senior client advisers. This followed a 25 year teaching career in both Queensland State and Anglican schools where he was a highly regarded primary teacher and later teacher-librarian.

After seeing many friends and colleagues struggling with retirement choices, Stephen firmly believes in the value of obtaining quality financial advice as a vital part of any pre-retirement planning. He is very pleased that a major part of his work over recent years has been helping other teachers to reach their financial goals.

Stephen shares with his wife a love of travelling through her home county of Dorset in the UK. Whilst at home Stephen will sit and read for hours in their garden, so lovingly planted by his wife and pruned endlessly by him. They also enjoy greatly the company of their 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Stephen loves classical music, cricket, transport history and has the ultimate goal of once more being able to ride a tram along Queen or Adelaide Street. 

Alex Turner

Alex has a diverse background having worked in hospitality, health as a Cardiac Technician as well as fundraising support for non-profits. Starting at Ipac in 2015, he provides Financial Advisers with ongoing administrative support.

The financial advice professionals are able to provide allows people to make the most of their money, achieve their financial goals and feel in control of their finances and life. I enjoy being a part of any endeavour that aids people in achieving their goals.

Alex is looking forward to completing his Commerce degree and pursuing a career in finance and accounting. An avid traveller and history buff, his next adventure will be to Japan and South Korea in 2017.

Wendy McNamara

Wendy has worked at AMP Advice since 2014, making a career change to the role of Client Relationship Manager after many years in the secretarial/administrative field of the public service in Canberra and Brisbane.  Wendy has found the change to financial planning administration very rewarding and has enjoyed learning new skills.

Wendy believes a financially comfortable retirement is very important and the advice of an adviser is helpful in making the most of the funds you have and achieving your goals.
