So we’ve improved our new member experience to make sure your employees can learn about, and engage with, their AMP super plan through personalised, interactive and relevant information online.  

 

What’s new?

Superannuation, and the benefits it offers, is a vital part of our financial wellness.

So we’ve made it easier for your employees to take control of their super by making complex tasks simple through online educative and interactive tools.

Here are some of the initiatives we’ve introduced:
 

1. Helping employees make the best super choice

Choosing AMP is easier than ever, with a new online choice form plus richer information and education materials to make it easier for your employees to make informed choices about their super.
 

2. A five star welcome experience

For new employees, we’ve simplified the way we explain super with a new welcome letter and handy infographic which is a snapshot of their super plan, including investments and insurance cover.

For employees with an email address, they will receive their welcome pack and service messages digitally via our secure My AMP website. Or, if they prefer, they can request a printed pack.

We’ve also leveraged market-leading technology to deliver a personalised, interactive video within our secure website – stepping customers through all the important things they need to know about their super plan.

This includes how to check their super balance, make extra contributions, find lost super, consolidate their accounts, nominate beneficiaries and change investment options.

For employees choosing to consolidate their super online with AMP, we’re now leveraging the Australian Tax Office’s Super Match 2 technology. This means your employees will:

  • receive their super search results more quickly – usually within 24 hours
  • have their ATO-held monies and lost super included in the search
  • have important features, such as insurance cover, flagged before they decide to consolidate their accounts.

So how can you help your employees to get the most from their AMP super? Encourage them to:

  • read their welcome letter and super snapshot
  • log in to My AMP to watch their personalised, interactive video
  • request a free super search to find and consolidate their accounts
  • use our interactive, online tool to explore their goals.

Make sure you provide us with all new employee contact details, including email and phone number. This helps us connect with new employees quickly and easily, so we can help them understand everything about they need to know about the great plan you’ve enrolled them in.
