Who we are

The team at AMP Advice Tweed Heads (formerly Wealth Vision) has been delivering quality advice to clients for over 10 years.  On 1 July 2015, the ipac group, which is a subsidiary of AMP, acquired 100% of the Wealth Vision business and in 2016 we are excited to progress our new relationship with AMP by moving to the AMP Advice brand.

The philosophy behind AMP Advice completely aligns with our goals based approach to advice.  We talk a lot about goals because, to us, financial advice is more than just numbers. It’s about helping people live better lives and reach their potential.

As Client Service Manager at AMP Advice Tweed Heads, Damien is responsible for the smooth operation of the business and office including supervision of client service staff and ensuring client service standards are met. He sees it as his day to day privilege to develop AMP Advice Tweed Heads' reputation as a premier financial planning firm for which are reputed for consistently delivering high quality goals based advice and genuinely supporting clients.

Damien started working in financial services in 2006, firstly in funds management before starting his career as a Financial Planner in 2008.

Financial planning is a client education process and is about developing strategies to help every day Australians manage their financial affairs, maintain lifestyle and meet their life goals.

Brian started his career as a Software Developer and Systems engineer working mainly in Defence Systems.  Due to the conflicting demands between family and work, Brian changed direction and bought a coffee shop.  This effectively exchanged one excessive workload for another so after 2 ½ year sold this to re-evaluate his career.

Having been a long term investor, Brian decided to do a course in Financial Planning to teach himself more about investing.  Brian found he really enjoyed the course and decided to take this up as his next challenge.  At that stage Brian joined AMP Advice Tweed Heads, and has been here ever since.

Why financial advice?

Brian wanted to learn more about investing and in doing this found that he wanted to help others with the skills he has learned.  Brian enjoys teaching people how to get the best from their money. This does not mean simply super or investments, this means budgeting, cash flow management, debt and then using these to allow investments and super to grow.

What's their goal?

Brian’s goal is to help his clients get the best results they can with their money.  To see them excel in their finances and get to the retirement they deserve.

Rosalyn Taylor

Roz started her career in Canberra paraplanning while completing her IT degree.  The combination of skills became invaluable as she moved to Queensland to continue on her journey.  Roz has had many roles in her 21 year career in the Financial Planning industry, from writing financial planning software, auditing and improving existing software, training and managing advisers and staff alike in varying disciplines, finance broking, assisting with practice design and implementation.  These roles were all vital from a detail and technical view point but the place she has found herself the happiest is over the past 10 years assisting clients face to face and to share with them knowledge she has gained in a simple and easy to understand manner.

Katie Hally

Katie started her career in the Financial Planning industry in 2001.  Katie has had many roles over the past 15 years in this industry, starting as a Bank Teller with a local Building Society, to a Financial Planner's Assistant, Finance Broker, Paraplanner and now her most satisfying role of a Client Adviser.  Katie now assists clients face to face and gets to share with them the knowledge she has gained in a simple and easy manner to understand.  Katie’s passion in life is to help people get ahead financially and make sure that ultimately we all have the option available to us to set ourselves up financially for retirement.

Why financial advice?

Graduating with a degree in Psychology, Melissa has always been interested in helping people make the most of their lives. With a passion for finance instilled in her by her father from an early age, Melissa began investing and negatively gearing in her early 20's. Melissa decided to merge these two passions and while living in Japan for two years after university began studying stockbroking and then financial planning.

Melissa has worked as a financial adviser for a major bank for 9 years prior to seeking out a holistic company such as AMP Advice Tweeds Heads where she can assist her clients make real changes in their lives through the power of their finances. Melissa believes that each of us have a contribution to make to the world and that having a solid financial backing means that you are then free to make your life count in a way that is meaningful to you and your loved ones.

Financial advice is having someone walk through life with you and assist you to achieve your life goals because you have the money to fund your goals. Adrian started having an interest in the financial world when his father bought him his first set of shares and managed funds at the age of 10. Around the same time, Adrian was playing semi-professional soccer for Ipswich Town FC in England from the ages of 11-16; then immigrated to Australia at the age of 16.

Since finishing secondary school Adrian became a high frequency trader for a proprietary house firm specialising in light crude oil and the ASX 200 index. The nature of the work was so demanding that upon completion of his university studies Adrian changed careers to become a financial planner and has been in the industry for over 7 years ever since. Adrian believes that education alongside work experience can be a key differentiator, as such; he is always looking to expand his academic repertoire.

Why financial advice?

To Adrian financial advice is the distribution and implementation of information to help achieve financial goals, feel more in control of your finances, protection of assets and avoiding costly mistakes. Adrian chose this field as it enables him to empower his clients with financial security.

Glenice Langridge is a Lead Client Relationship Manager (CRM) at AMP Advice Tweed Heads. Since beginning her career in the Banking sector more than 20 years ago through an internship with Republic Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (located in the Caribbean) she has held a variety of roles before migrating to London where she spent the better part of four years working for private Bankers such as Hoare's Bank and travelling through Europe. 

Glenice is a confident, highly driven practical hands-on individual with a passion for achieving high standards. She is resourceful and proactive, and applies her research skills and detailed product knowledge towards delivering a superior outcome for both customer and company.

Glenice now calls Australia home and lives in picturesque Tweed Heads on the Gold Coast with her two energetic children and jet-setting husband who constantly reminds her not to take herself too seriously and to live each day to the fullest doing the things you love.

In her spare time she volunteers at her son's Surf Life Saving Club. She is an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys long distance running and Latin dancing; and does not mind a bit of healthy competition….as long as she is winning!

Embarking on a career in the Financial Services Industry was a natural progression because it provided her with the opportunity to utilise her transferable skills in an industry newly introduced to the Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA).

Glenice was especially interested in the compliance and legislative aspect of Financial Planning and a role with Macquarie Bank presented a unique opportunity for her to augment her technical, communication and relationship management skills.

Glenice's career goal is to continue to acquire new skills and knowledge which can be leveraged towards assisting customers achieve their goals.

Robyn Job

Robyn has spent most of her working life in the Finance industry, commencing in the bank on leaving school and moving into Financial Planning some years later. Robyn has enjoyed the role of Personal Lending Manager, Adviser, Mortgage Broker and Paraplanner and of course Mother. Her favourite is being a Mother, and then close behind is Paraplanner. Robyn enjoys the challenges of this role and also the discoveries and learning new strategies and ways of helping clients. Robyn looks forward to continuing to develop in this role. Mother role continues to grow, always new skills to learn there.

Why financial advice?

Helping people is Robyn’s main characteristic, so stepping into Financial Planning was easy. In this role she works with our Advisers in helping clients identify and work towards achieving their goals and objectives, through logical means and strategies.

What's their goal?

Robyn’s career goals are to continue developing her skills in all avenues, and in turn provide quality and realistic advice to our clients through AMP.

Robyn’s personal goals are to make the most of each day. She challenges herself to try new things - sports and other activities - regularly.

It's sort of like a bucket list!

Robyn treasures her family and friends and spend as much time with her grandchildren as possible (there are lots of them!).

Robyn hopes to reach retirement with great memories of her career knowing she has contributed to helping someone wherever possible.

Having worked as a teacher of Mathematics for over 10 years, Claire decided to expand her knowledge and skills.

Her long time interest in Finance led her to study Finance and Financial Planning. Since completion of Diploma of Financial Planning in 2007, she has been working as paraplanner.

In her role as senior paraplanner, Claire enjoys helping clients achieve their financial goals as a result of the strategies to which she has contributed and sharing her knowledge and skills with her colleagues.

Why financial advice?

Claire always believed that we have an obligation to the world "help to make a better world by doing something to help people / neighbours".

Financial planning is 'understanding people's needs and goals, analysing the data and finally translating it to thorough and high quality advice, which will enable them to enjoy the financial benefits and achieve their life goals'.

Her natural talent together with her skills gained through education made it possible for her to achieve her desire to help people, a step closer to a better world by doing something she is very good at.

Claire’s goal is to continue to provide the excellent service and experience to clients in their journey to help them achieve their goals and also to help her company and colleagues achieve their goals, hoping to be able to add true value to their daily life.

Shae has recently completed her Diploma of Financial Planning and is enthusiastic to continue her studies. Frank Monaghan

Having worked for 5 years in retail banking in his native Ireland, Frank has developed a strong interest in helping people achieve their financial goals. As such, when he moved here five years ago Frank made it his mission to learn about the Australian financial world and to build his career within a company that shared his ethos. After a year and a half working in client services for a local home loans company, Frank had the privilege of being offered a job at AMP Advice Tweed Heads.

When not in the office, Frank’s interests include global politics, soccer (he is an avid supporter of Glasgow Celtic FC), traditional Irish music and exploring Australia with his wife and two young sons.

What's their goal?

Frank is currently studying for his Diploma in Financial Planning; with the ultimate goal to become a private client adviser so he can assist people in having the lifestyle they both want and deserve.

Cheryl is one of the team of Client Relationship Managers (CRM) at AMP Advice Tweed Heads. Cheryl’s work in the financial services industry commenced in superannuation administration before moving into the financial planning industry.  As she grew into her roles, Cheryl completed the Diploma of Financial Planning and has held various administrative and customer focussed roles during her career.

A major responsibility of her role as a CRM is to prepare and implement financial planning paperwork and provide the highest level of service to our Private Client Advisers.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys outdoor activities such as tennis, cycling, bushwalking and gardening. Cheryl enjoys experimenting with plant propagation and growing a few vegies as well.

The financial advice industry was a logical extension from superannuation management and Cheryl believes that is very important for people to have a financial goal.

Beth started working in financial planning when she finished high school in 2012 as an office junior and has worked her way up to her current role of Client Relationship Manager at AMP Advice Tweed Heads. Beth’s role as a CRM takes on the responsibility to prepare and implement financial planning paperwork for the Private Client Advisers and provide a high level of support and service to clients and advisers.

Why financial advice?

Since the beginning of her career, this industry has shown Beth how important and how fascinating financial advice can be. It has inspired Beth to push herself further then her expectations professionally, within her role and studies.

To further her career in financial planning and continue her education.


Wendy Dale

Wendy fell into the Finance mortgage industry by accident in 2005, and has never looked back.

Wendy’s beginnings were humble in being a part of a team of four Finance Brokers and her role was to manage their clients' loan applications from go to woe. It didn't take long to realise that what we did was more than a loan.  By working one on one through the loans process, clients gained knowledge and understanding of the loans process. Clients became aware of their ability to confidently afford the loan, and knew they were making the right choice to confidently purchase their dream home, investment or motor vehicle.  She even financed a Hummer once, now that was a hoot.

In her spare time Wendy enjoys all things in health and fitness, cooking and has become an avid concert goer.  Wendy also runs budgeting courses in the community to all who have a need.

Why financial advice?

Every client is different.  Single, married, defector.  Careers, goals, dreams, lifestyle choices.  Every bank has a niche and being a Mortgage Broker and having access to 30 different funders gives Wendy every opportunity to assist in every client’s specific needs.

It is totally satisfying in making clients dreams, needs and wants a reality.

Wendy joined the team in 2014 and it has taken her career to a whole new level and with a new depth in meaning as she assists our Financial Planners in achieving their client’s requirements, goals and purposes for the now, and an exciting retirement.

Emma Grainger

With experience in financial planning with both major financial institutions and boutique firms, Emma joined the team in 2015 commencing her role as Insurance Officer.  Emma truly believes in the value of life insurance and the financial protection it provides clients and their families in their time of need. Emma is passionate about helping clients through the insurance application process and ensuring their policies are structured to ensure the best possible outcome in the event of a claim.

Emma’s favourite thing to do when not working is have fun with her husband and sons.


Julie Redmond

Julie has enjoyed nearly 25 years in the banking and finance industry, and has a strong background in retail banking, namely Suncorp Bank and ANZ Bank. This led to a role in home lending and progressed to mortgage broking in 2007. Julie really has a love for lending, the credit process, and is passionate about the genuine needs for each client to provide the best service she can possibly give. It’s a changing environment and you never know what each day will bring, but she is always up for the challenge.

Julie was with Wealth Vision Home Loans for four years and recently spent some time in Melbourne in a similar role, before moving back to the Gold Coast and returning to the Wealth Vision family in 2016. 

In her spare time Julie likes keeping fit by walking and yoga sessions, along with riding her motorcycle every chance she can get. Julie is a strong animal rights advocate with a passion for all animals and their wellbeing. Hence she loves vegetarian cooking and enjoying a vegetarian lifestyle. 

What's their goal?

As a mortgage broker, assisting clients with their home loans is what Julie enjoys most. She finds it very satisfying to see clients achieve their goals and be a part of that process. 

Julie has so many goals that she can't write them all! Julie just wants to be the best that she can with honesty and integrity, and always to keep smiling.

Allison completed school in 2013 during which she worked in retail for two & a half years. Allison continued in retail before moving into a contract transcribing role for a historical society. Allison joined AMP Advice Tweed Heads in early 2015 as an Administration Support Officer and offers general office support, relief reception duties and she also assists the new business team while they help everyday Australians to achieve their life and financial goals.

Outside of office hours Allison’s loves to binge watch TV shows, read sappy romance novels and spend as much time as possible with her two gorgeous puppies, Baxter and Bailey. 

Why financial advice?

Before joining AMP Advice Tweed Heads Allison didn’t know much about financial planning or finance in general. Allison is now so much more aware of how important it is to help others achieve their goals though financial advice.

What's their goal?

Allison wishes to continue to develop her skills and knowledge in the financial planning area and look forward to where the future will take her.


Toni Coulter

Toni knew at her 1st interview with AMP Advice Tweed Heads, that the position of "Office Administrator" was for her and after 7 years, she still loves coming to work every day. Toni was told many years ago that she had a natural ability to communicate with people of all ages (newborns to the elderly). She thoroughly enjoys interactions with staff/clients in the office. Toni strives to make clients feel welcome and relaxed on each visit to AMP Advice Tweed Heads, especially 1st time clients that may be a little nervous and apprehensive. Toni’s love of organising all things social makes our office a hard working, happy and fun place to work.

Out of work hours, Toni enjoys a secure home life, and recently celebrated 25 yrs of marriage with her husband Trevor. Toni also enjoys walking along the beach at Coolangatta and watching her adult daughters, Laura and Brooke play softball locally, interstate, Australia wide and world wide. 

Why financial advice?

To Toni, Financial Advice is teaching people how to use their money wisely. Not having just a good budget, but paying off your mortgage sooner rather than later & still being able to have a comfortable lifestyle. 

What's my goal?

Toni’s goal is to be the best and longest serving, Office Administrator/Concierge  AMP advice Tweed Heads will ever have. Making our new clients feel welcome on their initial visit and our existing clients, happy and relaxed to come back and visit us for their reviews each 6 and 12 months.
