AMP Foundation

At AMP we believe strongly in building wealth, for individuals, organisations and the community as a whole. We want to make our communities better places to live in. To achieve this we are prepared to invest our resources in selected community projects that will make a real difference to our community.
 
AMP has been contributing to the Australian community for more than 150 years. The AMP Foundation was established in 1992 to make a difference in the Australian community at the grassroots level where AMP's people work and live.
Based on the philosophy of offering a "hand up and not a handout", the Foundation invests in two key areas - Capacity Building and Community Involvement. It does this through community partnerships with a range of non-profit organisations, including The Smith Family and Social Ventures Australia. The Foundation also supports the fundraising and volunteering of AMP's employees and financial planners through a range of programs.

Since 1992, the AMP Foundation has been one of the vehicles through which AMP invests in the community. Each year, the Foundation commits to investing more than $5 million in the areas outlined below:
