Group Functions provide a comprehensive range of support services to all AMP business units including:
AMP Finance
Driving the financial management of AMP to maximise value to shareholders. Teams within AMP Finance include AMP Accounting Services (Accounting Operations, Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting), Treasury and Mergers & Acquisitions, Actuarial, Investor relations, Internal Audit, and Tax.
The Public Affairs function builds and protects AMP's brand and reputation by fostering an environment in which:

AMP's strategy is communicated to key stakeholders in a way that influences their perceptions of AMP and builds understanding and support for its strategy and business activities.

Issues that impact AMP's reputation are identified, interpreted, prioritised and managed.
Within The Office of the General Counsel resides

Legal - providing legal advice and counsel to the Board and management across the businesses.

Risk & Compliance - (risk management, compliance, fraud, security, business continuity, disaster recovery and group insurance), establishing risk management frameworks and implementing them across AMP’s businesses

Group Secretariat - provides secretariat support to AMP’s companies and key management committees, corporate governance advice and responsible for ASX/NZX Listing Rule compliance
Group HR is comprised of 3 teams

HR Shared Services includes employee relations, remuneration consulting and operations, organisational development, resourcing and workforce planning, occupational health and safety, HR metrics and commercial management.

HR Line provides strategic and operational HR support to the Group functions, maximising organisational effectiveness. HR Line supports the business lines in building a high performance culture to drive achievement of our business strategy.

Group remuneration is responsible for the delivery and governance of AMP's remuneration strategy, including executive remuneration and short and long-term incentive plans.

IT@AMP is the technical hub of AMP and partners with AMP business units to design, deliver and manage innovative technology solutions that meet the current and future needs of AMP's financial planners, customers and employees.
